Through this project, we assess the need for and structure of the advanced oral health research training programs in the region. Research training capacity of the host institutions are strengthened through faculty training in mentorship and development of online and onsite course modules. A network of collaborating institutions in Southeast Asia are also created for the future training grant.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#grants\">Back to Thailand grants list<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"D43-2\">\n<h3>NIH D43 #2 (2011-2015)<\/h3>\n<p>\u201c<strong><em>Clinical, Public Health &amp; Behavioral Oral Health Research Training for Thailand.<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This program built upon and expanded an established training program which is a collaborative effort between the University of Washington School of Dentistry and affiliated Faculties of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University and Thammasat University in Thailand. It was established based on previous collaborations between UW and Thai faculty that continue to this day.
