Hi! I\u2019m Netri Parikh, BDS, MPH \u2013 a dentist who loves combining hands-on care with data-driven thinking to make community dentistry more patient-centered. I earned my Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India and worked as a dentist for a year before moving to the U.S. to pursue my MPH at Texas A&M. I\u2019ve always been drawn to both dentistry and public health, and during my time in India, I organized school-based oral health camps and preventive sealant programs. Those experiences really strengthened my interest in improving care at the population level. These days, I\u2019m splitting my time between shadowing at a pediatric dental clinic, volunteering in community outreach settings, and wrapping up a research paper on safer opioid prescribing in dentistry. When I\u2019m off the clock, you\u2019ll likely find me trying a new coffee shop, hiking a trail somewhere in the PNW, or reading a good book.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
