Five students the Global Oral Health
course at University of Washington's School of Dentistry had a unique
opportunity to conduct a research project in Kisumu, Kenya.
Dr. Oranart Matangkasombut is an Associate
Professor in Microbiology and chairperson of the Center of Excellence
on Oral Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Dentistry,
Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.

planning grant, Dr. Jenipher Ober-Oluoch, current faculty at University
of Rwanda, facilitated four focus groups with oral health professionals
in Kenya.
