Vincent Tran (Student Research Assistant (2025-Present)
Vincent joined Dr. Wee’s lab in Spring 2025 as an undergraduate research assistant. He is majoring in Health Informatics and Health Information Management with a minor in Informatics at the University of Washington. His research contributions include sample preparation, data acquisition, and documentation to support ongoing lab projects. He is passionate about public health and using data-driven approaches and human-centered design to improve clinical care.

Amitis Safvat (Volunteer Researcher 2025-2026)
Amitis joined Dr. Wee’s lab in November 2025 as an undergraduate research volunteer. She is majoring in Microbiology at the University of Washington pursuing a pre-dental pathway. Her research contributions include data collection, sample imaging, and hands-on experimental work, with an emphasis on problem-solving in support of ongoing projects. Her academic interests center on dental esthetics and maxillofacial science, and she intends to pursue a career in dentistry.
