Chelsea is the Program Coordinator of the Office of Educational Partnerships and Diversity (OEPD) at the UW School of Dentistry. She received her Master of Public Health from Drexel University, School of Public Health in 2014 and a BA in biology from Gonzaga University in 2012. From 2012-2014, she served with the Peace Corps in Cambodia as a High School English Teacher and assisted in establishing two science laboratories to enhance the science curriculum at the high school. Before coming to the OEPD, she worked for the Department of the Navy, Epi Data Center as an Epidemiologist Fellow through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE). Her interests include health care systems, refugee and immigrant health and oral health disparities within marginalized and homeless populations in Washington State. In Chelsea’s current role at OEPD, she works closely with dental students and School of Dentistry faculty to development clinical outreach and pipeline programs.
