
Research Assistant, DeRouen Center for Global Oral Health
Priyanka is a fourth-year International DDS student at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and a research assistant at the DeRouen Center for Global Oral Health. She holds a Master of Dental Sciences from McGill University and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India. At the DeRouen Center, she contributes to global oral health initiatives that integrate dental care into medical settings, expand access in underserved communities, and support training for frontline healthcare workers in regions such as Kenya. She is passionate about translating research into practical health initiatives, community-based education, and promoting health equity through interdisciplinary healthcare collaborations. Outside of dentistry, Priyanka enjoys trying new recipes, hiking in the Pacific Northwest, meeting new people, and visiting local coffee shops.
