Shannon graduated from the University of Washington in 2015 with a B.S. in Biology. She then spent several years working in the Seattle area as a patient care coordinator in an oral and maxillofacial surgery office. Outside of work she volunteered with Real Change helping distribute newspapers to vendors and working with the population in Seattle experiencing homelessness. Shannon began school at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2018. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, John, and their two dogs, Mac and Thor.
